The White Horse is located in the rolling hills of the South Downs in the picturesque town of Steyning. This welcoming public house is a popular location to stop off for a pint of local ale or a bite to eat by the log fire, after a scenic countryside walk.
The White Horse prides itself on seasonality and locality. Both the bar and restaurant offers a varied menu offering quality ingredients sourced from the local villages and farms. Hearty dishes or light bites from the specials board can be enjoyed in our friendly bar or experience a more intricate way of dining in our smart, open kitchen restaurant.
If you re just stopping for a drink, our dog friendly bar provides the finest Ales of the Country; including produce from Dark Star Brewery in Partridge Green, only 5 miles away. The creative bar team have also put together an extensive Cocktail list using classic recipes and classy signature drinks.
